Good location close to Lombard Street. Walk to Pier 39 around 30 minutes. I asked for a room on the upper floor as I was traveling alone as a woman. I got a room on the 3rd floor in the back of the motel which is more like a hotel. Access is via a side entrance between the actual motel and the restaurant next to it via a locked door. The room is simply furnished, but has everything you need. The view was into a courtyard in the residential area which meant that it was very quiet and I heard absolutely nothing from the street. For me this room was the perfect place for my first night after a 12 hour flight. The next morning when the fog was gone, I realized I even had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Exceptional support by reception staff and manager: helping out with local know how my ease transit travel arrangements; One one occasion , we have accidentally left our ruck sack with my daughters passport at a Restaurant at the bay after 9, and with support of the reception staff and manager ( Balinese), who demonstrated high level of empathy we managed to get to the restaurant within 15-20 min and got our belongings back! Having the receptionist contacting the manager , and having the manager driving us within short note with his own car is certainly exceptional, and for this extraordinary support we remain forever greateful!

As the motel did not offer breakfast we had breakfast outside location and there were plenty of opportunities around. The heater in our room worked well for the three nights we stayed there, and this is important to mention because the weather in SFO can be quite capricious, especially in March. The sheets and towels were changed every day and looked spotless. I must mention that we were able to benefit from a free early check in - as a result, we were told - of the policy of the Wyndham chain. I appreciated this especially since we were sleepless that morning and it was raining in San Francisco.

Good location, 15-20 mins walk from fisherman’s wharf, loads of buses to get around the city from this location, also felt fairly safe. Fair room for a fair price. Just enough facilities in the locality, convenience stores, food places etc to get by. Friendly and helpful staff at reception also. Sure, you’ll find better hotels than this but you’ll pay a lot more, all in all it felt good value and I’d happily stay again. We were a family of 3, 2 adults and a 5 yo.

This hotel is perfeclty located close to Fisherman's Wharf and Polk Street for some nice local restaurants and bars. The room was very big and we had a view over the Golden Gate Bridge. Parking feels very safe and reasonable priced. The staff was very nice and friendly. Very good value for money while staying in the middle of the city at the same time.
